The Child Development Clinic at CGH Hospital offers parents counseling on how to look after and how to encourage healthy development in their child. One of our child development pediatricians will first assess the child’s development to see if his or her behavior is unusual for the child’s age, and to check whether the child has mood problems or any psychological conditions that could affect his or her learning outcomes. This could include children who are at risk of developmental problems such as epilepsy, autism, premature birth or Down syndrome.

   We also offer targeted counseling services for issues such as family problems during divorce, preparing for a new child, video game addiction in children, teenage behavioral changes, and cases where depression is suspected.
